Today, the Department of Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) issued a bulletin

on the subject with more detail.  

This is a severe risk both at work and at home.

Please share the information with your end users (done yesterday) but, more importantly, department leadership is asked to take a focused position with staff on the importance of avoiding exposure to this risk by avoiding contact with it in the first place.

Avoidance is the best strategy.  Please reinforce the practice of not opening e-mail, attachments or links that are from unknown sources or, that you are not expecting.
